NT scan and gender
I'm getting the NT scan done on Thursday(I'll be 13 weeks.). Has anyone found out the baby's gender when getting this done? Also if you have, how accurate was the technician?

My sono tech wouldn't even look, she said there was no way to tell, but I've heard of others getting an accurate gender at the NT.

the tech at my OB will not even guess at 13 weeks, most times she won't even guess at 16w/

This. I have my 20w today and my dr will tell us the gender today...though we "cheated" and went to an ultrasound center at 17w b/c we were too impatient.

NT scan and gender
12 w 2 d we were told boy (and I was in SHOCK) and given an amazing shot of his penis. My OB saw the printout and said go ahead paint the nursery but the other OB in my office said not to be so sure. 19 w 3 d confirmed boy. Confirmed again with an amazing pic on the 3D at 27 weeks lol.
With DD they couldn't even make a guess at 12 weeks.

They told us girl at 12 weeks and still girl at 19 weeks.

the sono tech told us it was a boy, when the doctor came in to confirm the sono tech's results, we asked her if she agreed with the tech's guess ... she told us "oh, it's just waaaay too early, you can't really tell this earl... oh wait .... that's a penis!"
at every sono after that, i've asked for confirmation and it's still a boy so i guess they were right

We were told 70% chance  at our 12 week scan. At our 18 week scan we were told 100%

With DD, the tech guessed boy at my 12 week scan.
With this pregnancy, the tech (a different one) guessed girl at my 12 week - she got a clear shot of the angle of the dangle and explained why she thinks it is a girl, and got a shot between the legs and also said that showed it looked like a girl. I am almost 16 weeks, but wont find out until the 20 week if she is right, unless I cave and go for an elective sono!

My tech told us at our NT scan and she was pretty sure. It was confirmed at 17 and 20 weeks. Maybe I lucked out.

My tech refused to guess but I saw parts that look like boy parts but the tech insisted it was too soon to tell sure enough I had boy

The technician told us at the second NT scan that it was a girl(16w). It was then confirmed last week at my 19w ob appointment and tonight at my Level II. So its possible!

So they told me 2 more boys  But of course were only 80% sure. So we will see for sure in a few more weeks!

This baby was so uncooperative at the NT scan that I wouldnt even dare ask..it took like 2 hours for them to get what they needed as it was..
but... when I went to my reg OB 5 days later he made a very preliminary, "dont take it to the bank" guess of we will see for sure at the level 2..
