NT Scan and 12 week appointment today! **Update
I'm excited and nervous! wish me luck 
Everything went well. They said the sonogram looked good just waiting on the blood work. We told the rest of our family and friends today, it was pretty exciting.
I thought the NT scan was more than a 2 second sonogram. They did an internal sonogram measured the neck and that was it. They didnt even get good pictures at all  It still doesnt look like a baby to me.. more like an alien.. the pictures freak me out. I saw other sono pics from other NT scans on here and mine do not look like that.. but regardless they say the baby looks good. I was really sad tho, everyone says its an amazing experience and I saw the baby for 3 seconds and couldnt make out what i was looking at... I feel like I was rushed out.

really? thats what I expected.. and I expected a regular sono as well as the internal. It was seriously 2 minutes long.. and I have a picture that doesnt look like a baby.. they didnt even let me see the baby move

Do they have to measure anything besides the neck? that is all she measured and they did the finger prick

I'm so sorry you had a bad experience! I had the NT/Ultrascreen and they did an internal and external that lasted about 25min. I can't believe they didn't even give you a picture!!

The NT scan is quick and you don't see much. The Level II at 16 weeks is the good visit. It's a loooooong sono with a ton of pics!!

Oh thats weird. I made 16 week appointment and they said no sono then.
I cant wait for the next one whenever it is

I'm sorry you had a bad experience, where did you go? I go on Tuesday for mine. I had a choice of NRAD or Winthrop perinatal, I chose to go to Winthrop
