does anyone know if they have private rooms available? A few people told me you basically have 4 people to a room

Do you mean NSUH Manhasset? If so, there are a couple of private rooms (about $500-550/night). I was in the standard double room, which 90% of them are. There were 2 rooms w/ 4 beds each that are used only when the maternity ward is completely filled.

yes, this is the hospital I meant. so oif it's really packed there will be a chance to share w/ 4 ppl to a room. My Doc told me it's an extremely busy time when I am due ( end of sept) for babies being born. That's why I'm a little concerned
