My SIL's grandmother (we are also very close to her) fell yesterday and broke her hip and her wrist. She is in the ICU with heart and lung problems (complications from the hip break)so they can't operate on her hip until they can get that under control.
I know this is a very serious situation so please send some prayers, we are all very worried right now since she is 88 and has recently has some health issues.
Prayers coming your way. My grandfather broke his hip and had to wait for surgery. He was not in that much pain because he was essentially immobilized until he other issues were resolved. I know hearing that won't make her get better, but maybe it will give you some peace of mind.
