npr- please recommend a xmas gift for....
my father-in-law... we are having a very hard time figuring out what to get him... he is a widower who lives alone and doesnt really need anything.... we hate just getting him clothes but cant figure out anything else...

he does play golf, but we got him a golf store gift cert for his birthday...
he doesnt even know how to turn a computer on...
does food gift cert sound cheesy?? we cant decide
