NPR-I hate Paypal!
Does anyone else sell on Ebay and use Paypal? I just sold a bunch of items and I accept Paypal as payment. Well the total of the items is close to 200, shipping included. I went to Paypal to transfer the money to my bank account and they placed a hold on it until the buyer leaves me positive feedback or 21 days, whichever comes first. WTH? So I am shipping almost 200 worth of stuff to people and I don't even necessarily see my money???? What if the people are dishonest and say that the items aren't in good shape? (they almost all are brand new items). What if they leave negative or neutral feedback for some reason? I just don't get my money and they get to keep the merchandise? Doesn't seem very fair to sellers AT ALL.

thats weird?? i never heard of that. did they pay with an echeck and paypal is waiting for it to clear?
im sorry im not much help..i find this very odd as well.

I thought (I could be wrong) that you charge for shipping as well, not to be reimbursed for shipping

is that why when i went to go purchase something wth money in my paypal from things i just sold it went straight to my back up?? that is annoying... i use the money i make on paypal to order baby stuff on drugstore.com

Nope, all payments were instant payments. It must be a new policy because I have always used paypal and never had this happen.

Nope, all payments were instant payments. It must be a new policy because I have always used paypal and never had this happen.
I use paypal all the time too, but i dont sell via ebay. However, this sounds like total BS.
I would call them b/c I would not ship anything until funds cleared.

I use my Paypall all the time. Just recenltly sold things on ebay, as well as here, and all monies I got from those sales, I transferred to my bank account the very next day. No holds or issues at all.

That's been a policy for quite sometime now. You must not have enough feedback or recent sales to allow them to release the funds immediately. I would email your buyers and ask them to leave you feedback.
