now what!?!?! mommy is sick...

so i have a pretty bad case of strep throat. I just started amoxicillin

I breastfeed and today I noticed my 5.5 mo old has red blotches ALL over her body...(it looks just like when her sister took amox and had a reaction a few yrs ago..so I am assuming she is having a similar reation)

my DH is on his way to the ped now!

my poor baby =(

BUT now what do I do? i hope i can take a different med bec i feel like C R A P!!!!

how long do you think the meds will be in my system.????????

i guess i am going to be doing a lot of pump and dumping...i breastfed my 1st two kiddies for a whole year and never had to pump and dump

I have no advice, but to offer a this mommy is sick as well. but I was told mine was viral. I was up to 103 yesterday. being a sick mommy sucks

yes...mommy being sick is the absolute worst!!

the dr prescribed me z-pac so I am hoping that will work and i will pump and dump today..he said i should be fine to breastfeed by tomorrow...not as bad as i thought...

but the latest stress is that my DD who normally takes the bottle no problem REFUSES today of all days..she hasnt eaten since about 11 am and she usally eats every 2 hrs...
