Now what?
Katie has a fever today- she had an ear infection and cold last week but has been doing better- her ears were clear 2 days ago.
Now she has a fever again! Could it be from teething? Her mouth seems to be bothering her.

It could be but I would call the doctor tomorrow and just have her ears rechecked to be sure.

Same thing happened to my DD - She was fine at one appointment and then a few days later - another ear infection. I would call just to be sure

Same thing happened to Joseph when he was a baby - way too many antibiotics for his little body though.

They can. I remember being told that you can have them check at one appointment and no ear infection and then the next day boom there it is.

Yes - for a while he was getting ear infections month after month. Finally my sister suggested giving him a probiotic to counter the antibiotic. So I would pour a little bit of acidipholus in a bottle. I'm pretty sure that was what helped him.
