Now What??

I have had three miscarriages. Two in the last 6 months... My DR. ran the panel of tests on me and everything came back normal....

Well, the good news is that things came back normal, which means it's likely you CAN take a pregnancy full term.

The frustrating thing is still the question of why you keep miscarrying.

What have you been doing so far - natural or assisted (IUI, IVF)?

I had two miscarriages and they ran the panel on me and found nothing as well.

They ultimately decided it was a male factor thing for us - the sperm was not formed well enough to make it a viable pregnancy.

IVF with ICSI is what ultimately worked.

Hoping you get some answers!! Chat Icon

Immune testing...have you done it?

Hopefully it was just bad luck. BUt there could be more to it. Dr. lockwood at Yale Med Center was very informative for me...well worth the trip. HE does not believe in immune problems, but has other interesting theories. SIRM does immune testing.

Re: Now What??

Did they run the complete panel? Some doctors only run some of the most common tests. Ask for a copy of your blood work so you can see what tests they ran. They should have taken 16 vials I think for the full panel. If you need a comparrison let me know and i can give you a list of tests that should have been run. Sorry you didn't get any answers Chat Icon . Keep asking for tests and fighting for answers.

Re: Now What??

Even if you think you have had the full panel of immune testing you probably have not. The traditional RPL panel is not exhaustive. Here is a post I answered yesterday adding to testing another poster had.

I have lots of advice and resources but I would rather do it over the phone. If you are interested FM me and I will give you my numberChat Icon

Thank you so much girls.. The complete panel I believe it was 16 or 17 vials was done on me.. We are actually just waiting for the genetic test... I think I am going to go a head and try one more time before going for the hysterosalpingogram or seeing a specialist..

I have the same issue-the hsg is good to have just in case but from what you're writing it seems that you may be having infection or immune issues. Do you have a copy of your results. Can you post or FM them? I saw Dr. Kwak-Kim in Chicago who is a reproductive IMMUNOLOGIST-she was ocvered under my insurance and obviously I had to pay for flight, hotel etc. If you do not want to travel, I would see SIRM since they are the most immune friendly in this area.
