now that he can sit (and is beginning to stand) in his crib...
he keeps himself awake sitting up. For the last 3 nights he has been stting in his crib crying and/or throwing his binky/blanket/lovey on the floor. I hope this passes

katie still does this , but a lot less frequent. In a daze, she will just get up real quick and sit there, half asleep. Sometimes I go in there and lay her down real quick and she falls right back asleep.

I see DD often times dive bomb forward after waking up half asleep. It is sad to watch but amazing that they sit up so quickly...I have seen her on the monitor with her eyes closed sitting up
