now i'm upset!!!
my pervious post mentioned my doctor wanted me to go out on disabiltiy now for the rest of my pregnancy due to severe cramping at work
well i just got off the phone with work... who didnt seem too happy about my decreased schedule as per my doctor... now i'm feeling i should have just agreed to go out on disability. even though it would be extremely rough on us financially,, but this way i wouldnt have the stress and worry about work and pressure for me to work more than i phsyically should.
i dont know what to do... i faxed over my letter from my doctor and i was told to wait until i get a word or approval of this. umm hello this has to be immediaite.. even thought i've been telling me that this is bothering me and I'm going to the doctor. this has to be immediate doctors orders, i cannot wait for approval... i shouldn't need approval.... if they put me on part time status... that doesnt work for me... it will screw up my benefits and i will get paid more getting disability. but now it will cut into my time home with my daughter afterwards? at least it think it will.
i 'm so upset and worried about this... i can't stop crying.. i know i have to otherwise i put myself into a asthma attack!!

 You should not need approval! Your company should be listening to your Dr...What the heck are they thinking?

I would apply for immed disability and simply leave.
It is not worth a miscarriage or anything. Everything works out in the end.
if they do not have your best interest at heart then do not feel bad.

I agree with previous posters, I'd put in for the disability now. Work is most certainly not the priority.
I'm so sorry you have to go through this. At least you have all of us to help you feel better.

sounds like my job. I submitted paperwork to metlife for intermittent fmla and i am still waiting for an answer and its been 17 business days already! I am ready to tell my dr to put me on disability right now, i am struggling to get them to let me leave work to go to dr's appts and next month i will be at the dr's even more
