November mommies thread?

How are we all doing?

I'm definitely showing- I've been in maternity pants for about 2 weeks and think I may need to break out the old maternity tops soon....

I had my 12 week appointment yesterday-I only gained ONE pound!!! Considering the queasiness had made me eat any and all things carb/greasy I am SHOCKED.

I also have NO immunity to parvovirus (causes Fifths disease) which sucks because I work in an elementary school as well as with kids in area preschools/daycares, so the chance of exposure NOW is high (and not good).

I am not doing the Ultrascreen because I am having an amnio done on May 30. I had an ultrascreen with DD- so I am sad I won't get to see this little one for a few more weeks.

Re: November mommies thread?

well I am 9 weeks and 4 days I am doing well BP is still creeping up here and there but trying to get it down. I saw the OB last week I really like the facility and being High risk I feel like that is where I need to be
I went for a 1 hour glucose today that is the nastiest stuff in the world just gross and I am pretty sure I failed and will be tortured with the 3 hour soon. I have an appt for my ultrascreen in 2 weeks very excited to see peapod again it's been a while. I am out of work on leave and loving it thinking about staying out longer now I found out yesterday that after I exhaust my vacation time I can get 36 weeks at half pay not too bad so it is something I am considering anyway that is the update on me

I'll be 10 weeks tomorrow and get to go see our meatball on Thursday. I can't wait. I"m in maternity pants too. I couldn't justify buying bigger pants when I would need the maternity ones anyway. Good choice they are so comfy!

Looking forward to m/s vacating soon!

9 weeks 4 days also! I am thankfully not showing yet (I don't want to tell my school for a few more weeks!) but the morning/afternoon sickness is really torture for me. Luckily I teach inclusion so I have a colleague there in case it gets really rough! We have our ultrascreen in 3 weeks, which we can't wait for! Its been hard being pregnant with a 1 year old, but so worth it!

I will call my doctor tomorrow and run it by him. Thank you for the suggestion! With my first it wasn't such a big deal to have morning sickness (and it was over by 8 am) but with a baby at home, its hard to have it until 10pm!

Re: November mommies thread?

I guess its time I introduce myself! I wasnt sure if I would land in the November or December thread but I went to the Doctor last week and will officially be a November mommyChat Icon

My name is Marie, I am 9 weeks preggo with my second child, we have a Chat Icon Sydney who is 20 months old todayChat Icon

I am due November 30th but since I will be having a repeat c/s, it will be about a week or so before.

I just started showing, you definitely do pop quicker with the second. I am feeling great, not nearly as tired as I was with DD, however I am super nauseous much of the day especially in the afternoon, which I never had with DD. I havent actually thrown up yet but the nausea is unbearableChat Icon

I am going for the ultrascreen in 3 weeks, I cant wait to see my little bean again

I look forward to chatting with you guys!

We have the same due date. And like you I will have another c-section so we get to go earlier!

When is everyone going for their ultrascreens? I go on the 16th.

i'll be 11 weeks on friday, i'm going on may 10th for my ultrascreen. I'm still feeling really good and still not showing much at all which is even awesomer. I've gained a 4 pounds so far and even though there are 2 of them in there, 10 lbs less then what i gained with DD!
