november mommies...

How is everyone feeling? I am 27w 5d and can't believe this week ill be entering the 3rd trimester! So far been feeling well aside from being tired..but I attribute this to being pregnant and working 13 hour workdays! I had my 1 hour glucose test and passed! They did suggest I take iron supplements since I have low iron.

Baby is kicking. My placenta is in the front so it shields me from the very hard painful type kicks. Dh felt baby kick a few times if she is in right position.

How is everyone else doing?

I am feeling great, 25w6d. My countdown just went to 99 today!! I still have a lot of energy, going to the gym and not really tired or anything (excessively). BUT I am a teacher and off for the summer not doing too much of anything. Im getting a bit nervous about going back to work. I cant believe how fast it feels now. I have been very emotional the last week about evrything....crying a lot over stupid stuff.

On a more positive note, anyone having their showers soon? I need to live through you all since I know nothing about mine. Chat Icon

I am 24w1d. I am feeling pretty good during the day. With the exception of on and off exhaustion, but that might be from being hom ewith a 3 year old all day! I am having some problems sleeping, sometimes its insomnia for no reason and other times I just can't get comfortable!

I feel the baby moving all the time and DH has felt Chat Icon a couple of times too.

I have nothing prepared for this baby! What am I waiting for?

Re: november mommies...

hey ladies. 27 weeks today. Been in the hospital on bedrest for 3 weeks as of todayChat Icon I am feeling okay....just here on bedrest on meds and being monitored so I can keep these babies cookin longer!

The most frustrating part is being stuck here and not being able to do anything to prepare for the babies to arrive. I want to set up the nursery and wash the clothes and all that but I can't do any of it. Luckily DH and my family have been very helpful...but I wish I could do some of this stuff myself.

I am also bummed my August 20th shower had to be canceled and I probably won't have a shower at allChat Icon

Re: november mommies...

hi girls!

I just hit 28 weeks (my doctor actually changed my dd to Oct 31 but I am still a november girl at heart... i'm sure LO is going to hold out til then anyway).

I am finding it impossible to get comfortable enough to sleep :( Feeling very sleep deprived.

Otherwise, I'm doing well. I passed the glucose challenge. My shower is 9/10!

I'm 28 weeks today and just heard that I passed my 3-hour glucose test - thank the good Lord!!!Chat Icon

I am feeling great other than a little discomfort in my ribs and swelling in my ankles (which only happens when I'm at work).

At last night's Dr. appointment he did mention that he expects me to go around the middle of October based on my age and the fact that our baby is the result of IVF (apparently they have a tendency to arrive earlier). Either way he's going to have me finish up work around then just to be on the safe side. We have so much to do and the nursery is currently a construction site.Chat Icon My shower is Sept. 11 and I'm worried now that I won't have enough time.

Re: november mommies...

I will be 28 weeks tomorrow. Still feeling pretty great all and all. I'm having some issues sleeping, doing a lot of tossing due to hip pain. Found out I passed the 3 hour last week! Nursery is pretty much done, just need to add the finishing touches after my shower, which will be Aug 27th!!! It's coming so quick!!! Chat Icon Chat Icon

Re: november mommies...

I'm feeling good, I'm 26 weeks. My little one is very active and is literally all over my bladder. lol.

I have some minor bleeding but this just means I get more sonos and more urine tests - you can't see the blood with your eye, it's like traces of it in my urine. I was told no sex til til christmas (when I'd most likely heal).
