November Mommies - check in
hey ladies...how are your babies doing as they get to 6 months?
rocco was born 19 1/4 inches and 6lbs
he's now 26 3/4 inches and 16lbs.
he's gained 10lbs and 7 1/2 inches!!! he's also sitting up really well and starting to maaaaaa babble..i almost cried b/c it sounds so close mama 
how's everyone else doing?

DD is 27 inches and 17 lbs, she's so big!
She has been "talking" for months, very vocal but no real consanants, just lots of squeals and noises, she's a very happy baby!
Although she likes to wake up before 5 and not go back to sleep, occassionally I will get 5:30 or 6...she is killing me with this but she's so cute it's hard to stay mad
She's starting to sit up, is rolling all over the place and is getting to be a lot of fun!

Maddie is about 16 lbs, 25 1/2 inches. She babbles a lot. Mostly the dadadada sound. She sits up very well although she can't get herself into sitting position. Sleeping is getting better. She loves her fruits and veggies especially squash. If she's on the floor, she rolls to where she wants to go. She now nods her head, too. We say that she's "all business" because we think her underlying personality trait is very serious especially with people she doesn't know too well. Boy does she make them work for even with a smile!

I'm not exactly sure how much she weighs or her length. I haven't measured her in awhile. But last I measured she was about 15lbs (that was at her 4 month visit), and 24 inches.
She's sitting up really well and can stay up in tripod position for short periods of time. She does some rolling over, but mostly just likes to roll around and wiggle around on the floor.
She is sprouting teeth, her two bottom ones at the same time. They broke through a couple days ago.
She likes to talk, but I don't think i've heard "dada" kinds of sounds. Mostly "lrraalllrarlrblehblehrrllerel". And lots of squeals and belly laughs. The high pitched squeals in my ear when I pick her up are great. lol
There have been a few nights where she has slept all the way to 6am, but for the most part she gets up at 4:30ish to eat, then she falls right back to sleep. They say she is up for most of the day at daycare, and the swing is no longer her favorite thing. She prefers to play on the floor.
And she loves rice cereal, even though she hasn't gotten the eating from a spoon thing down just yet. Most of it ends up on her bib.

I guess Gavin wins for FATTEST CHUNKA.....he's 20 pounds!!!! 
Getting so big, rolling all over the place so mommy doesn't sleep anymore...
Just started babbling something like "babababbababaaaaaa" whihc is the BEST 
6 months yesterday!!!!!!!!!! 
I compare his chunky thighs to a perfect fresh mozzarella, soft, squishy and delicious!!!!!! and sometimes salty......DH says that from his peeing while I change him......
I love this kid.....
So glad to hear from all the November mommies! I miss the pregnancy posts!!! I can't believe I jsut said that!
