Novak Flooring - RANT!!!!
I don't even know what to do anymore!! On 8/4 we had Novak flooring come in and do our hardwood floors. They were finished on 8/6 except a threshold piece that needed to be ordered. They said it would take 2 days to get it, but after calling EVERY day for 3 weeks, they showed up with a shattered piece that fell off their truck. We have called every day since then, and they won't return our phone calls. We made the mistake of paying in full. I filed a compliant with the BBB over this. When I was able to get them on the phone, they didn't even seen to care! They said they'd call back to schedule a time to install it. So now we have great looking floors, and a big cement patch going from the living room to the dining room!!! They had good reviews on here, but i would not recommend them to anyone. Seriously we must have left at least 25 messages and never ONE phone call back.

Okay - I can't even make stuff like this up. I finally got someone on the phone and was like, when is this project going to be finished? And he said, oh this is the piece Gregg was trying to get. He got arrested for punching the supplier and he can't come to work for 3 weeks until the court date. Of course he said he'd call me back. Anyone know where I can go to get a threshold piece directly? I'm so over this.

UGH! so sorry. we just had our uncle come and make us one. we had such a difference in the height of our floors we had to do this.

We used them, and I think they did a great job on the floors. But there were little things like that which really annoyed me, and that makes it really hard for me to recommend them to anyone on here.
eta: wow, just went back and read the part about Greg punching the supplier...that is crazy!

We used them as well and were happy with them, they didn't call us back the first time we called but then eventually did and came
