nothings working for acid reflux
i have some nasty virus and am coughing up stuff i took a zantac because not only is the coughing making me nauseous, but im really close to throwing up from the acidity.
what can i do until i speak to the doc tomorrow? tums isnt doing anything and DH wont be home with milk until later (not sure how that will go over with the virus but it often helps with the acid)

Milk of magnesia might help, or Pepcid? My Dr gave me approval for both.

DH has horrible acid reflux and when he ran out of his prescribed acid reflux medicine he actually ate some marshmallows and said it worked instantly

I have GERD and was on Prilosec and Zantac. What helped was 2T of honey. I know it sounds nuts, but it's an old school remedy and I still do it!
