not sure where to post , little TMI Q about bleeding after CS

I had a CS almost 3 weeks ago, had some bleeding, but nothing too bad, it turned into spotting and completely stopped on Sat. But last night the bleeding started again out of nowhere and has been going on all day today. I know it's normal to have bleeding on and off for 6 weeks or so, but it looked like in my case it went away for days and now it's back. I know it's not my AF, doesn't feel like nit , plus I'm EBF. Called my OB's office and they said to take it easy, try to relax and not do too much (easier said than done) watch it and if it continues call back.

has this happened to anyone? How long did the bleeding/spotting last?

its totally normal for bleeding to stop and come back. i would assume its still post partum bleeding. for me it stopped after one week PP and then came back like ive never seen before and i didnt stop bleeding until about 6-8w post partum. it has nothing to do with a cs vs a vaginal birth (i had a cs also). the more you are nursing will also effect the bleeding since the nursing helps the uterus contract back down. so if your DC is growing and nursing more or getting more, that might also account for worse post partum bleeding. as long as its not golf ball size clots or bigger or you are filling a pad in 2 hours or less, you are fine.

I definitely had bleeding on and off for a while. I can't remember exactly how long but definitely over a month. Sounds normal to me!

I'm currently dealing with the same thing. had a csection almost 8 weeks ago, and started spotting blood at 7 again. doctors office said it was ok.
