does anyone watch Hoarders?
does it not make you want to rip your hair out??
the episode tonight is making me especially    . the woman Penny is at risk of LOSING HER KIDS and she is pulling stuff OFF the truck??? Her son had "animal droppings" in his bedroom and they're freaking over a few tshirts

I feel bad for them. They have a severe mental illness, but most people just think "Well, just clean the house, and it's all better." It's not, though. It's an addiction, and there's no amount of logic that can change their behavior. They need lots of therapy after the house gets cleaned.

DH and I watch it all the time together and he always has to explain this to me because I can't stop saying "I just dont get it.. why are empty coffee cups valuable to them?!"
The show gives me anxiety.. I guess bc I am the complete opposite of a hoarder.. I throw out everything in sight. I hate clutter
