Not pumping the whole day
Ok so I was in a hurry this morning and I left without my breast pump. Stupid I know.. now I dont know what to do. will this mess up my supply?
I was able to pump this morning at home but I wont be able pump this whole work day. I'm so upset!

it shouldn't but you can express some in the bathroom, it will give you relief and won't give you a ton of foremilk like it did for me.

You should be fine. When ds2 was 6 weeks old this past May, I had to go to the ER. I was there the entire day without him or the pump and wasn't able to pump until 9pm. THEN for the next two weeks I could only pump 2-3 times a day because I had major complications after a surgery. Ds2 is now 9 months and we are still breast feeding without supplementing. Even when I got home from the hospital, I only had to supplement for two days so if I can make through all that and go on to EBF I think you will be okay!

I don't think it will affect your supply but it may be painful. I personally would buy a hand pump for some relief.

I have forgotten mine at home a few times also. I jus remember them being really painful, and once I leaked through my shirt! Hope it's not too uncomfortable for you. Try to express some if it gets too bad for you

One day will not hurt your supply, it just may be a bit uncomfortable.
I did this once...after the one time I kept a manual pump in my car.

it may be uncomfortable for engorgement.... seriously worth it to take a coffee cup, go into a bathroom, hand squeeze some out and dump it.
it shouldnt mess up your supply if you go without once.
