Not in that town, but I have to say the FB mom groups are an amazing resource.
I personally like going to them over LIF for area-specific stuff.
It's also a great way to actually meet people in your area.

How do you get approved for these groups? I have tried to join two different town groups and just get ignored. Not sure if I should be insulted.
