I'll probably bail out - it seems that it's geared more toward moms with infants but will pass on the information to my friends with newborns.
Thanks for posting it! Also there is a cute site on the business directory for tee shirts that say "Little Man" and "Princess"...

I would think you're fine. I have a 2 year old & 4 year old. Not to mention - the belly gets you in anywhere.

I think it's geared to all ages b/c a lot of the playdates are at Crab Meadow playground, the zoo, etc...
So I think if anything it's more for your kids' age, I can't picture my 3 month old daughter hanging from the monkey bars just yet!

What time is everyone going???? I literally live 2 seconds away and would like to try this route again.
I checked it out last year but they didn't have anything for Ava's age group and told them that was why I didn't join. She said "well you could start your own group".....I wasn't about to pay them to run my own play group
Maybe things there have changed b/c last year I wasn't impressed. My girlfriend belongs to another chapter out in Sayville and they have TONS of great stuff for kids.

10am sounds good, I thought it was an hour "shpeel" that we had to be there for (yeah right as if any child would sit for an hour, wait, or even a minute )
Lori - thats too funny! I heard they pay you if you run a class or something. Ive heard alot about it from one member, Im sure shes still there. At the time I was looking to get out and still have the kids (they were looking for mommy and me teachers) but there was no place to leave the baby at the time).
I think the fee is $50 per year, and then small fees for activities..
I heard the Setauket one is pretty popular too. I know Danielle was a member (Elle).

I'll shoot for 10 also although I *TOTALLY* forgot about my Peapod delivery which is scheduled for 8-11 so it depends on when they show with my food.

Im not sure if any of you were there, I went and actually bumped into a friend (whose a member) and she showed me the playrooms, and chatted with me about the club,etc. Seems really great.
Theres lots of info on the website.

I went, I was there just before 10am.
It seems like a nice group of women, however, I don't think I can really do any of the kiddie activities yet, maybe I'll join in the Fall when Alex is a little older, not sure yet.
I did bump inot someone I went to h.s. with though, what a small world! (Neither of us are originally from NPT)!
