Northport area Moms...
I checked out Northport Nursery School on Laurel Hill Rd. It seemed very nice and Brody loved it.
Any feed back?
Also, while I'm at it, which dancing school for Ava? She will be 6 this summer.
Thanks

Re: Northport area Moms...
I had checked it out for Ava and while the price was nice, I just wasn't feeling it. I don't mind chipping in to keep the tuition cost down but having to clean, paint and do cleanups on the property is not something I was willing to do. I just didn't get that warm and fuzzy feeling when I was there. But the woman who runs it is a sweetheart and if you're willing to do the work, I'm sure its a great place. Its been there for years - she must be doing something right.
Most area mom's go to St. Pauls. I hear good things about it. I don't have any info on it so maybe one of the other ladies can chime in here.
Some go to Christ Lutheran Church in Commack - its on the corner of Burr Rd and Larkfield. Tuitionwise its extremely affordable and the teachers are wonderful. It does follow the Commack school calendar so the kids may have different days off.

Re: Northport area Moms...
I went to Northport Co-op for preschool! So did my brother and sister. I'm 27 now! So they've been there forever, and my mom swore by them. I remember loving it there.
I do remember my mom and dad had to do a LOT, though. Everything from bulletin boards to bringing in snack to mowing the grass. It may have changed a bit since, but back then it was a lot of work.
