Nook Color vs. Kindle vs. Ipad
I have searched online and read several articles as well as posts from other message boards. But I really would like to know what you guys think. I think I ma finally going to get an e-reader. I am just not sure which one to get. I know that the Ipad is a totally different "animal" but if it is better to get that over the Nook or the Kindle I would wait and get it. So please share your opinion. TIA

My mom bought me the nook color for my bday in November (when the color came out)... and I absolutely loved it... on April 16 i won an ipad at a card party... so i gave the nook to my mom... now i have ibooks, nook and kindle apps on my ipad...

ive played with the ipad and man is that thing SICKKKKKKKKKKK
but i have a kindle which i love to death. its so easy on the eyes and i love that i can read it outside with the sun in full force. the case/cover i bought has a light (which gets charged when the kindle is being charged) so i can read in bed at night

The Ipad looks awesome if that is what you are going for.
But I also researched the nook and kindle for awhile and I decided on the kindle and I am 100% in love with it. So easy to read, doesnt hurt your eyes, no glare and super easy to use.

I voted iPad. I have one and besides using it for an e-reader... I do so much with it. It has almost replaced my laptop for me.

strictly for books, i'd say kindle. easier to read and lighter.
if you want other apps ipad. although i'd be afraid to just throw a $500 toy in my bag and use it anywhere.
