Non-Mommy needs help with gift for a new 2 under 2 mommy!
Hi Girls
my sister has a very active 19 month old- boy
she was induced at 7am with her daughter
she keeps saying she doesn't need anything- but that's b/c I bought her a $500 stroller less then 2 years ago and she feels bad (baby #2 wasn't planned) I am sick of fighting her on this- money is not an issue and I think she is being silly- I am happy to buy her a nice gift and believe that all babies should be celebrated
I want to get her something that she will use- I am buying clothes like crazy- but is there something that you had or wished you had when you had 2 under 2!

Something for her or for the baby?
If money is not an issue - I would have loved a maid service, even once a week to do major cleaning. Or gift certificates to a local restaurant so I wouldn't have to cook. A gc to to a local spa where I could have a nice relaxing QUIET afternoon.

Does she have a double stroller? my two are 16 months apart. I knew what I was having both times so I had all girl stuff when ds came along. I received a new swing, rock and play,double stroller, bedding for the baby, car seat. maybe an extra convertible car seat for when her dd is bigger?

I so agree! I would love this! I honestly think this is the best present for a new mom, especially a mom with 2 or more kids.

I would find a photographer in her area and have newborn pictures done. If that is out of the question and she didn't get a double stroller yet, then that. I would find out which stroller she was interested in though.

Beth, I so suggest the cleaning lady.
That would be AWESOME!!!!!!!! I would definitely want this. I would just make sure she is not opposed to having someone else clean her house - know what i mean? Make sure she is comfortable with the idea before you spend the money.
Double stroller is a fabulous idea too.

she has a close friend who takes professional pics for her
I doubt my sister would be opposed to someone cleaning- her husband would be opposed to them spending the money on that-
I am going to text him in a few days about it- his mom is their now helping - so I would want to wait till she leaves and her DH goes back to work
he is very helpful

Cleaning lady is definitly worth it. We had someone come in monthly up until DS was born bc I was on bed rest and we continue to have her come monthly(he's 4 months).
