Non-Formal shower

My shower is (already) being planned around the Martin Luther King weekend. It's going to be February and freezing, can I just say in the invite for everyone to wear track suits or jammies? I really don't want to get dressed up in the freezing cold!!

Re: Non-Formal shower

where's it going to be? isnt MLK weekend January? Either way, I like getting dressed up for these things!! Usually the location dictates how dressed up I get.

Non-Formal shower

It might be at my grandfathers fire house. I was just thinking "slumber party theme" sounds so good right now!!

You never know. Last winter was pretty mild!

I think women will get dressed up no matter what. You're only running from the house to the car to the party and back to the car. If you had to walk far in the city, for example, I'd say it's a different story.

Pajama party theme! I like it.

I gotta say though. I'd rather get dressed up in cold then heat.
