no weight gain....edited with belly pic
I have lost weight since I was preggers. I am down 12lb and from the looks of it on my home scale I have not gone up. I def have the belly and huge boobs. I used to always be little and I put on some weight before i was preggers from depression of not being able to get preggers and having to go for infertility.
I go to the thyroid doc today he is going to weigh me again I hope I went back up a lil. And I hope the bloodwork results come back that my thyroid is normal
I eat but not alot since I throw it up. I am now throwing up every few days as opposed to a few times everyday!
But when I eat it is grilled chicken and i love fruit. That is about it. I was able to have a roast beef sandwich yesterday and did not get sick.....but I really have no desire for food food except chicken and fruit as snacks I just get nervous the baby isnt going to be ok
I do take my prenatal and a baby asprin(as per my infertility dr)
anyone else not gain anything? I am 19w 2d.
I mean trust me I dont want to gain a ton of weight but just a lil.
Here is a pic of me at 18w. How can I have a belly and no weight gain!?!? Ignore my dumb face LOL

I can't see the picture but I would say you shouldn't worry about the weight unless you doctor says you need to worry. With my last pregnancy, I lost 15lbs in the first trimester. I was already over my ideal weight so the doctor wasn't concerned. Even if you aren't gaining weight, the baby is still growing, they are just using your "reserves"

Re: no weight gain....edited with belly pic
I'm at 16 weeks and I'm at -3. I originally lost 6 lbs from being sick, but now that I'm not throwing up every day any more (just some days) I was able to put back close to 3. I'm still nauseous on and off every day, so my appetite is still not raging.
My dr. hasn't been concerned at all. I asked him when I had to really start gaining weight. He looked at me and smiled and said, "6 months." He said the baby is a parasite and takes what it needs. He said even at 20 weeks, the baby is only about 12 oz and I definitely have 12 oz on me that the baby can take.
That said, are you taking Zofran or anything to help you keep food in? What has your dr said?
You look great in your pics (though I know you don't feel good ) You have a great belly. I still don't really have one yet....just a little bump.
ETA: I also crave fruit. Last night all I could think about were cheeries I haven't really had too many junk food cravings. I mostly want healthy things, so that's probably another reason I haven't gained much.

I was taking Zofran in the beginning when i couldnt even hold down fluids. Now I really dont take it....1. the taste of it make me want to vomit and I am trying to do it without meds. I went through 2 prescriptions of it already. I can hold down food way better than before but I do not eat to much i get the sick feeling and I try not to throw up now. But i am def eating better and I eat food that is good for you. I hate all fried fast food stuff (which is so funny b/c i used to llllllove it) i dont even like bbq burgers or steak which was my fav. Just good old chicken (which i used to hate) and fruit. This lil one keeps its mommy in check I tell you! when the dr gave me the zofran he said call if i cannot hold anything down. id idnt call b/c I am def improving, I went back and saw another doc in the practice who weighed me and said nothing. Today I see the thyroid doc b/c they though my thyroid might be overactive hence the weight loss. But the thryoid doc said he cannot tell since I threw up so much. So now I havent been throwing up as much...but still losing so maybe it is the thyroid which if it is would explain alot for me b/c I was always like a twig when i was younger....and ate EVERYTHING! LOL. So who knows I will keep ya posted when I come back from dr today. I pray it isnt my thyroid. Ahh the joys of pregnancy.....all this worrying! only to have more worrying after the lil one is born for the rest of its life

Don't worry. If your Dr's aren't concerned that you shouldn't be either.
I'm 33 weeks, and I've only gained 5lbs. I was overweight to begin with and now that I have GD it's harder to gain weight. My Dr's are very pleased with my progress, so I'm happy too. (and by the way, I looke like I've gained 30lbs... check out my preggo pics!)
Just think of it this way, it'll be that much easier to shed the weight once the baby is born.

Is your doctor worried? I just lost 5 pounds in two weeks due to morning sickness. The doctor was not concerned.

The 1st doc said if I cannot hold stuff down he was going to get me an iv drip at home.
Then 2nd doc visit with a different doc weighed me and said nothing and said it all looks great. And the baby sounded great.
I go for my level II next wed.

Re: no weight gain....edited with belly pic
I wouldnt worry - my SIL was sick her entire pregnancy and is about to deliver a healthy baby (knock wood) in 1-2 weeks and she has not gained ANY weight at all but the baby is consistently gaining. .and she had zero extra weight on her.. . literally she's like a stick with a huge bump . .so I just think that those babies really know how to take care of themselves and find their food! I feel like it's more important you're not putting bad things in than worrying about weight gain. .
but in the end I think you just trust your doctor bc we're all just a bunch of folks who don't really know - trying to give advice!!
but you look super healthy to me!!
