No spotting-a bad thing?

I know this is probably going to sound crazy, but how common is implantation spotting and is it bad if you don't have it? I only got my BFP last week and I've had no spotting at all. I was just curious if this is a good or bad thing or neither.
Thanks!

i didnt have that with my first pregnancy. But I do now. I would be more at ease if I didnt see it.

Oh yes, I'm very happy to not have it. I was just wondering how common it was. I guess i'm just nervous and hoping that everything is progressing as it should be since my first sono isn't until 3/3. I'll be counting down the days!

Re: No spotting-a bad thing?

It isn't very common to have implantation spotting. I didn't have it with my first. I had it with my second, and that pregnancy I just happened to spot through the entire 1st trimester, and went into preterm labor at 32 weeks as well. I am sure there is no connection, but for me, I would rather see none at all.

With that said, I DID have implantation spotting this time around, too. Hopefully I don't have a repeat of my last pregnancy.Chat Icon
