no more work and first internal tomorrow i think?
last day of work was today!!!! so relieved and yes scared of no money for 3plus months but whatever!! lol
and i will be 35w4d tomorrow so,,,assumming i will have an internal?
how much can doc really tell by sticking a finger up there though? kinda dont understand it...anyhoo game on!

i am 40 weeks tomorrow and have my first internal in the AM--my office won't do them sooner since it doesn't tell you anything since you don't know how quickly you will progress.
i stopped working a week ago--enjoy your time off before the LO arrives!

My Dr. doesnt do internals until Im in labor because they really dont give much information. That being said they did ask me if I wanted one and I said yes. Kind of wish I didnt because it was kind of uncomfortable...

No internals until 39 weeks with my doctor either. I would probably be ready just in case though.

My OB started them at 36 weeks also. Re: what they can feel, at my 39w appt on Thursday, he told me he was tickling the baby's head!!!

I had my 1st at 36 weeks.....for #1 around 32 or 33 (I was having a lot of contractions)
dr is basicly checking the cervix for changes (dialating/thinning)...it doesnt always mean anything even if there is progress

well no internal today...culture for strep b....
doc said at 38 weeks he will check..actually he only saw me for 3 minutes adn was out the door.
