No more mobile. Please recommend something for night
Since Mason stands in the crib and walks around the whole thing in circles we removed pretty much everything... no bumpers, mobile, etc.
Prior we used to play the mobile and he'd roll over and go to sleep on his own. Now all he wants to do is stand up and call out for us. He's 10.5 months and has been doing this for over a month now. Thought this would be a phase and he'd go back to his regular bedtime routine. Especially since his top teeth FINALLY came in. I was wrong Now one of us has to rub his back for a while till he goes to sleep. He stopped putting himself to sleep and some nights he gets up in the middle of the night crying for us so we have to do it all over again to get him back to sleep.
Any help? Any music machine or something I can play to catch his attention to help get him to sleep. It's just silent now.
Thanks Ladies! I miss my boy that STTN! Now it's once a night just to be held.

I have the Homedics Sound Spa Lullaby with picture projection.
Landon's almost 2 and we still use the projector sometimes! There is a timer so it can turn off itself in 15, 30, 45, or 60 minutes.

We had the FP Aquarium also and once we took down the mobile she loved playing with that, but then she started kicking it and that just didn't work out..but it was up for a while after the mobile went down

We use the projector mobile , I think it's made by Fisher Price. It has a music setting, nature sounds or heartbeat. The images are on the ceiling, so there is noting for the baby to grab! :)

Re: No more mobile. Please recommend something for night
My DD is 19 months old but for the past few months we've used the "Twilight Turtle" in her crib and the Leap Frog "My Pal Violet". She LOVES them!!! The turtle casts pretty stars all around her room and when she presses the button the colors change......amber, green, and blue. The "My Pal Violet" is cute because it's a talking puppy that you program online so it says your child's name and talks to them about their favorite things. It also plays music. She loves it, it keeps her busy in there if she wakes up and we can't get to her right away. All she has to do is press the paws to play the music and have the puppy talk.
