No Cook - Kid Friendly Recipes

DS's teacher told me that she was going to do some "cooking" in DS's class this summer.

Here are some recipes I have found:

Bananimal Sandwiches Recipe
1 banana
16 animal crackers
Slice banana into 8 slices.
Put each slice between 2 animal crackers.
Serves 2.

Peanut Butter Fruit Roll-up Recipe
1/4 cup peanut butter
2 tortillas
1 banana, peeled & sliced
2 large pitted dates, chopped
1/2 tsp cinnamon
Spread each tortilla with half of the peanut butter.
Arrange banana slices and dates over peanut butter.
Sprinkle cinnamon over fruit on each tortilla

Crunchy Apple Rings Recipe
apples, cored and sliced into rings
peanut butter
granola
Spread peanut butter on top of each apple ring. Press granola on top of peanut butter.

Cheesecake Grahams Recipe
1 graham cracker
1 tbsp whipped cream cheese
1 tsp strawberry jam
Top cracker with cream cheese and jam.

I am not sure if you are submitting these to the teacher but a lot of them have Peanut Butter which I know a lot of schools are banning because of allergies. So many sounded good but DD has peanut allergies so they were out for me.

You could maybe use sunflower seed butter (from Whole Foods or Trader Joe's), it's delish!!!
