no appetite

i try to eat but i can only take a few bites.

I had like three small bites of my pbj this morning.
thankfully i have a fruit smoothie that i've been forcing myself to sip.

nothing is appealing to me. i am not nauseous. its just that i dont want anything. Last night i made pasta and i had a few bites. For lunch that day i took like three bites of my salad.

will my appetite come back?

Its very common to not like anything during the first tri. It will come back

i had a LOT of food aversions during the first trimester, but no morning sickness. i just ate whatever appealed to me at the time - now that i can eat more, i try to eat better. but honestly, if i wanted twinkies then, i ate them, because i didn't know when i would be in the mood for food again.

I had the same thing. I actually got upset and was telling DH that I hope that I will like food again. It has gotten better, but I am hoping once I deliver I will like eating again.
Hang in there. the first tri was the hardest. It will get better!

I am totally opposite you i want everything that i dont have in my HOUSE!!!

As others have mentioned, it is very common in the first tri. Believe me, it will come back, in full force!

Im starting to feel this way too and im 34 weeks now.. is that weird so late in the pregnancy to have no appetite?

i had this in the first trimester then all of a sudden one day my appetite came back! it was very exciting to like food again- i think i started liking it a little too much, now at 28 weeks, it is starting to calm down again...

I'm going through the same thing. Im 16 weeks now... my 1st trimester was horrible with morning sickness, and now that has subsided and I just have NO appetite whatsoever. I'm actuially losing weight instead of gaining. I spoke with my OB and she said to eat whatever you can as long as its not really bad food. I find myself being able to eat a strawberry or two, and then 30 minutes later i'll try for some cheese, then maybe 30 minutes later i'm trying to have a piece of toast. I eat ALL DAY LONG, but as long as im eating something, the dr is happy. Good luck!!!!

i had this same exact thing...i didnt want anything!!!! At 10 weeks i started to get my appetite back!

Im 24 weeks and my hunger is no more/less than it was pre pregnancy. Whats different is that when I eat I get full really really fast!!!

It comes & goes throughout your entire pregnancy. Use this time not to try to eat healthy. Once your apetite returns, it will return with a vengance!!!!

Im never hungry, its been all pregnancy long..I cant eat much or I start feeling sick...its totally normal, and baby is doing really well.

I have found myself being very picky with what I eat lately. Taking a few bites here and there.. I just never know what to eat.
