Re: very first time getting highlights and need recommendations please
i'm not a highlight expert and i'm sure there are other ladies on here with much more info, but when i was getting highlights (i stopped dying altogether now) i used to go to Glory at Dramatics in NYC on 63rd st on the east side. She was amazing but expensive (a few years ago it was about $250 for full head, I have no idea how much others charge so I have no reference, but $250 for hair is expensive for me, just one reason I stopped dying).
I never wanted the zebra look and she did exactly what I wanted and is great at helping you choose the color.
