My sitter who is 15 and can't drive (argh!) comes over every thursday evening for four hours even if Dh is deployed, working and even when I have no extra money to go out she comes over no matter what and sits in my house while Jack sleeps so if I need to get out, have a date night, girls night out, catch a movie by myself, go to the gym, long walk on a short pier... I can.
No grandparents here so thats the best I can do and afford.
Also my gym has free daycare!!! :) Cha Ching!

how about swapping babysitting with another Mom? You get to go out while she watches Talia and you return the favor. Free babysitting + time to yourself= a happy mommy!
