Most insurance companies offer them on top of car/homeowners policies.
Ours is approx $200 extra/year.
It covers extra protection on top of your homeowners/auto policies. For example, it covers if you are sued in a car accident or an accident at your home above your liability coverage in your regular policy or if for example, a neighbor's tree falls onto your property and causes damage (which usually isn't covered under homeowners).
