I had a vaginal birth but had GD, so they took my dd away pretty quickly to check her blood. I got her back at 10pm, she was born at 7:19pm. The nurse was sooo mean to me, all she kept saying was were to busy to teach you to breast feed, so cant we just give her a bottle... NOOOO, i wanted to bfed. I figured it myself, but it took alot of work. I had bleeding nipples, b/c of the latching. My dd did cry ever 1-2 hours for feeding, but i kept to it. I did give up a couple times and when my dh would give her formula i would cry.. then i said im going to make this work.

My dd is 4m old today and we are still working on the bfing. I pump during day she doesnt want the breast, she will take over the night time. She now gets an occasional bottle of formula b/c i got the stomach virus and my supply dropped dramatically from. Im just starting to get it back up.

Its alot of work but it will work out.. trust me.
