Nikon moms
i am looking to buy a new camera. i have been looking into th nikond40 and nikond60. i looked at kenrockwell.com and he says its better to get the d40 since they are basically the same. do the mexapixels matter? What do you think?
also i say costco.com has the nikon d40 55-200VR and the 18-55 6.1MP for $599

I just got the D40 (based on owners here and kenrockwell.com)
Megapixels do NOT matter unless you are blowing them up beyond a 20 x 30 size. The quality of even a "bad" photo on the D40 is amazing.
It's easy to use so far, but I have not delved into the many modes or even what all those numbers mean on the LCD screen!!
