Nighstands
If you don't mind posting, how much were your nightstands?
When we ordered our bedroom furniture we waited on the nightstands in case we found something we liked better - I've been searching for months and nada....I think our best best is to just get the matching stands so we can finish up our bedroom...
The nightstands are $299.99 each so for both it's $599.98 plus tax plus delivery comes out to $715.96
I hate to pay that much for nighstands, especially since we weren't happy with the service we got from the store. We love the style of the furniture but the customer service was horrible.
I know I need the nighstands and there is no way getting around it - i've tried  so if you tell me the price isn't that bad I will feel better

I would have trouble justifying the cost too. I'm in the same boat. We bought a sleighbed that "matched" our previously purchase dresser so it's not a "matching" set. I'm in the process right now of looking for nightstands b.c I have tv stands on each side of the bed right now! I can't find anything either. I'm looking on CL right now and hoping for a steal.

I've been stalking craigslist, ebay, furniture stores, walmart, jcpenney, target but nothing...
My problem is my bed is really high and the nightstands that go with the set are 32 inches tall - which is the height I need and a lot of the stands I see that I think might work are just too small and will look dwarfed next to my bed 
Ugh, I am going to go there later if DH gets out of work in time and try to haggle

I would def. haggle for the ones you want. Do you know the manufacture and model of the nightstands? Maybe you can find them in some of the NC furniture stores. GL!

This is actually a great idea. We found our dining set at Ashley but, continued to shop around bc it was expensive. We went to a private store who happened to be able to get Ashley furniture. It saved us $500.00! Sorry I didnt mention that earlier.

we have a very high bed and needed high ones as well. I paid $199 and got them at Bob's. I figured they would "do" for now, but they are actually solid wood and pretty good quality.

There aren't any Bobs down here...the cheapest places we found furniture at were Rooms to Go and Ashleys - and that is where the nightstands are from (Rooms to Go)! 
I tried finding out who the manufacturer was - I thought it was Hooker for some reason or something that reminded me of the name Hooker - it came with a piece of paper with the name on it which I of course like a dope threw out! I still tried finding the set online for cheaper but no luck...
This stinks! My tax money is going to go real quick!

maybe you could save a little money with this site. I didn't see that many that are that tall, but I think I saw a lot that said Free Shipping. HTH!

i know
last time we argued with them about it b/c we only needed the bed, the armoire and nightstands...but that wasn't one of their "packages" and you only get a deal when you buy the "sets" they are selling (which is usually a lot of pieces, like an entire room, hence Rooms to Go )...
i am hoping to get there sometime this week. i am going to say if they can't do better than the price online then i am just ordering it online and not through the store - hopefully the salesperson wants to make the commision and will make a deal - otherwise what's the point of ordering at the store?
