Nicky Hilton is engaged
Paris Hilton's little sister Nicky has said yes to her banker boyfriend, James Rothschild.
The 33-year-old socialite confirmed her sibling's engagement via Instagram on Wednesday, writing: "Congratulations @NickyHilton on your engagement! I'm so happy for you! You will be the most beautiful bride! Such a lovely couple! Love you both so much!"
A source told Us Weekly of the couple's engagement, "They went on a romantic anniversary trip over the weekend. He took her out on a boat into the middle of Lake Como and he proposed, got down on one knee and everything. It was incredibly romantic and beautiful."
The romance doesn't stop there. "Last month, he actually flew from England (where he is based) to the States to ask her parents for her hand in marriage!"
The 30-year-old hotel heiress began dating her beau in 2011 after the two met at model Petra Ecclestone and James Stunt's wedding in Italy. Now that he's put a ring on it, the couple is "on a road trip throughout Europe and celebrating."
Hilton has been snapping pics as she makes her way through Milan, Lake Como and Rome. Her rep has yet to comment.
