Re: nfr...but does anyone know of a good

I make this dip and everyone raves about it

2 packages of cream cheese softened
1 jar of salsa usually I use mild since you do not know what people like
Blend well

Top with shredded lettuce, taco cheese (Kraft) and tomatoes

I put lettuce over the whole top and then tomatoes around the outside and cheese in the center.

If it is for a large party I usually make it a double batch.

I layer one packet of cream cheese, then a can of chili (no chunks), then layer it with 4 different cheeses. ooppss..that was a warm recipe!

Guacamole (or Moley-as I call it)

I usually make a ton so you scale it back for your use.

3-5 Haas medium avocados very ripe so the pits almost fall out when you cut it.
red onion
limes
lemons
chopped tomatoes
crushed garlic

Cut avos in half and remove the pits. They should be so ripe that you can squeeze the pits out and squeeze the avocados from their peel.

squeeze in lemon and lime juice

add chopped red onion-half a small onion

add crushed garlic-use about a teaspoon

kosher salt
coarse black pepper
chili powder
chipotle powder seasonings

Mix it all up keeping it on the chunky side-do not puree the mixture-you want it to have texture. Lastly add the tomatoes and mix.

The seasonings and lemon and lime juice are all for taste. You can adjust them. I always add a little at a time..you can always add later if it needs salt or more lemon juice.

Enjoy!
