New NFIP PSA Calls Attention to Flood Risks
The National Flood Insurance Program has announced the launch of a new television Public Service Announcement called "Listen” to remind residents about their risk for flooding during the remainder of hurricane season. The spot features musicians from New Orleans who experienced firsthand the devastation caused by hurricanes Katrina and Rita. The PSA will air through the end of hurricane season in 19 states along the Gulf Coast and the Eastern Seaboard, including New York, with the highest risk for hurricane-related flooding.
