We are going next weekend with our DDs, they are 6 and 3. Any recommendations?

Activities? I don't think they'll put up with more than a few mansions.

Red Parrot is a fun restaurant with kids. There's a cute arcade right on Thames.

A GREAT burger place we went to is called "Mission" a bit small, but fantastic. it is somewhat communal high top tables. Our son (3 year old at the time) actually thought it was cool like that, but I can see it not being perfect for the little guys.

Belle cafe for breakfast and possibly lunch. Its in the shipyard, but the food is really good and its has seating outside by the boats.

as far as what to do... we struggled a bit with our little guy. did a few mansions (he was losing patiance), did the cliffwalk, we did a sailboat ride.

There is a beach we went to that my DS loved - lots of big flat rocks to walk on. Drive all the way through town and head to the right. Sorry I can't remember the name but it's a state park or national park. We were there a couple hours and my DS would have stayed all day. We also toured the fort but your DC might be a little young for that yet. Its a lot of walking and parts might be a little scary for them (dark, lots of stairs, tight spaces and they talk of ghosts).
