Newborn Sleep Issues
Well just as Bxgell2 wrote in her post, every child is different, even when it comes down to how they sleep.
I don't know what to do with Landon and his sleeping situation. It seems he LOVES the comfort and incline of the swing. I do not have it turned on, I only turn it on when he is cranky and crying because he can't fall asleep on his own. That's the only time I turn it on and once he's sound asleep I'll turn it off. I had some success in having him STTN in his cradle. One night he even slept 11 hours but then he started waking up again for feedings and each night would be more and more times waking up. The crazy thing is, he would nurse each time he woke up, so I wasn't associating it at the time with him being uncomfortable in the cradle. I just couldn't take it anymore and I let him sleep in the swing the next night and he STTN.
With my boys, each time I nurse them and they are going to sleep afterwards, I always have them sit upright to make sure all the milk goes down into their stomaches so they won't spit it up, I just feel better knowing their food is going down.
With DS#1 Logan, I would always put him in the bouncer and then move him to the cradle when he was sound asleep. It worked well for us.
With DS#2 Landon, I purchased a swing this time around and I put him in the swing for the milk to go down before I transition him to the cradle. It just does not work with Landon.
I know Donna (dm24angel) went threw the same thing with her son Noah, and we spoke about it. Just wondering if anyone else is having this problem where their DC won't sleep in their cradle/bassinet/crib. How do I go about getting him used to being in the crib without both of us loosing our patience?

Re: Sleep Issues
I just wanted to send some Hugs, cause I know how frustrating it is....And We were nver the same with getting Noah to adjust to the crib after almsot 7 months in the swing.
What about trying a crib wedge or something to make the crib inclined so you can place him in there after eating??
Or try not using it at all, or very little slowly...slwoly use the crib/cradle for naps and maybe it will just take some time?

Re: Sleep Issues
After we spoke about this issue, Landon was sleeping threw the night in the cradle. I was sooo happy, then it started getting worse with waking up for feedings. I then started putting him in the cradle for the naps but he would just wake up and cry almost immediately after putting him down. I would try to soothe him with the mobile, pacifier, singing to him, touching him.. I probably didn't do it long enough because I was loosing my patience (bad me, I know) but I wanted my down time. There are just no issues with the swing, put him in it and he is so happy.
