Newborn hats
Can I find any in stores? I REALLY love the crochet ones but can't crochet for my life. I would need to buy one in store since I am most likely having my baby in 2 weeks. I also saw these SUPER cute crochet booties that matched a hat on Pinterest....I would LOVE something like that.

Hey ... what kind of hat are you looking for exactly? I can probably whip one or two up for you real quick before your due date...I'm pretty sure we are close. I am in Levittown...I'm a "novice" crocheter but I'm out of projects so let me know if you want me to make a hat or two for you!

I'm really bad at following patterns. I can't do it to save my life. So all of my hats have just come out of trial and error. I spent a lot of time in the fall making hats, pulling them out, changing it slightly and remaking it!
If you wanted me to try and write down and approximate pattern for a hat that I make I could do my best! Lol...I'm a lot better at just showing someone in person how to do it!

Aww.. you are sweet. Thank you. I will check out the sites the PP above and see what I can find. I am sure you have better things to do before you new baby gets here than write out a pattern!  Thanks!!

same here and so glad I'm not alone, lol. I knit/crochet and love making hats, scarves, blankets, diaper covers .... I just can never follow any patterns.
