Anyone ever use them? If so, can you share your experience? the good and the bad?

TIA

Re: New York Prime Foods

I'm bumping this because I just signed up for this and was curious anyone has this too.

So far the free sample they gave us was pretty good. DH was impressed with the meat.

However, if anyone gets the groceries, detergent, soap, peanut butter etc, don't get it. I think it was a waste.

The meat is excellent. The groceries are a ripoff.

They'll also try to sell you a $1,000 "commercial" freezer for more than $3,000, and tell you they'll "discount" the food to make it affordable.

We tried to get a price breakdown on the invoice after the food was delivered (as the salesman promised when signing the contract) so we could compare prices to our butchershop, but they absolutely refused. The owner was actually very nasty and unprofessional about it -- I'm amazed they let this guy deal with customers. We would have stayed with them for good (like I said the meat is excellent), but the guy was such a nasty and stubborn jerk about giving us an invoice with line item prices that we decided to spend our hard earned money elsewhere.
