Consider buying the Family Membership if you have 2 or more kids for $120 (tax deductible $74) or plan on going to any NYC area zoos at least 2 more times. Adult tickets cost $12 , children (aged 2-12) cost $8.The membership also includes unlimited visits to the Bronx Zoo, Central Park Zoo, New York Aquarium, Queen Zoo & Prospect Park Zoo. I’ll admit it, I said I had 4 kids since we had my niece & nephew with me. They have some writing claiming that they can ask for proof of children but I figured my kids have enough toys & can make the mess for 4 kids so I’m covered.
We went late in the day (3pm) stayed for 2 hours & then for a walk on the boardwalk at Coney Island. Once the kids saw the amusement park, there was no stopping them. We went on the rides at the Wonder Wheel & had a blast. We ate dinner on the pier as the sun was setting. There was a DJ set up in one of the gazebos. It was the quintessential New York moment where you’re watching Black, White, Latino, Asian, Indian people, everyone from toddlers to old, old men with a hat & cane dance their tushes off. It made me think that the world needs a lot less fighting & some good music to have everyone get along.
Next weekend, we’ll probably head to the Bronx Zoo…
If you opt for the NY Aquarium, I have two tickets for free child admissions with an adult purchase up for grabs.

Sounds like a great day. When my girls get a little older i want to do all of that with them. I can't wait!!
