New verizon plan
Anyone have the new verizon plan where you have to pay for the phone monthly? I'm curious to see cost if you have to replace early before it's paid off? Is it a lump some payout or do they just add the new cost of the additional phone to the plan in addition to the monthly phone cost already being paid?

Re: New verizon plan
I have the new plan and if you want to upgrade your phone BEFORE you have paid off at least 70% of your current phone, then you have to pay off your current phone in a lump sum and then you can upgrade.
However, once you reach the 70% threshold you can upgrade at any time but if you still owe any money left on the phone it needs to be returned back to Verizon when you get your new phone.

Does your bill seem to be cheaper? Once the phone is paid off, does your bill decrease to just pay for service?

Yes, once you pay the phone off it's yours to keep and you stop paying the $28-35/mon. We're doing it with my DH's phone, he doesn't mind keeping his however, I upgraded mine.
