New symptom....my right thigh gets numb?!
What is this?!?! Didn't happen when I was pregnant with DS.
For a few days now if I stand more than 10 minutes at a time my right outter thigh gets numb. Like pins and needles kind of numb.
If I sit or lay it eventually passes but it is the weirdest thing.
Anyone else get this?

Re: New symptom....my right thigh gets numb?!
I have the same thing but its in my left thigh!!! I asked the OB about it the other day and he said it's completely normal. Soemthing about the baby and hitting a nerve or whatever. I couldn't hear him cause my almost 1 yr old was SCREAMING over him in the exam room I was of no help but I swear he said "It's totally normal...wah wah wah wah" along those lines

Re: New symptom....my right thigh gets numb?!
Im so glad you posted this. Believe it or not i went to the doc yesterday but the numbness was getting our of control. I not only have it throughout my arms but in my legs, my stomach and my mouth! I actually thought i was having an allergic reaction. Turns on my doctor said that DD is laying on a nerve and the bigger she gets the more numbness i will feel. You can actually try laying in different positions or moving your belly a little to get you LO to move around a bit. Unfortunately if your LO is like mine, she favors one side of my body. It was very scary bc i left work early and thought something was really wrong or that i ate something that i was allergic to. Long story short, LO is probably on a nerve which seems to be very common. Good Luck and I hope this helps!!

I had this when I was pregnant with DS. My doc said it was the baby pressing on a nerve.

I figured it was a baby pressing on a nerve, but it is so darn weird and actually uncomfortable. Hopefully baby moves soon!

Re: New symptom....my right thigh gets numb?!
I get this in my left thigh. It's so annoying because it happens if I sit or stand too long so I need to keep alternating. I've had it since about 10weeks and I'm getting pretty tired of it!
