NEW PUPPY
Hi I am new to the boards and we are pciking up our new puppy tomorrow! We are getting a male wheaton. I am a first time pet owner my DH had a dog growing up.. needless to say we will take any advice you have? We are also TTC for the first time so life is busy!

Well Yogi is here and adjusting... we are having some issues with him pooping on the wee wee pads. He will pee on them but prefers to poop on my carpet!! We have the kitchen gated off and his crate is also in the kitchen. We haven't really kept him in the crate for too long he goes in and out when he wants. He does sleep on his pillow a lot in there. Not sure how to get this crate training going. Our breeder said we shouldn't take him outside till he gets all his shots since we live in an apartment building?

Welcome and Congrats on the new addition! Training gets easier I promise. It does take time and work but it will get easier
