This process really takes a toll on a person. I am really trying to keep it together. So we move on to our 5th IUI cycle. New protocol is adding Gonal F every other day for 4 days + the Femara which I take every cycle and then trigger.
Anyone have any success stories/good experiences from this? Any positive feedback would be appreciated. I really need some strength right now.
5/13- Had an u/s today to see how I reacted to the Gonal. I had 6 follies! 5 mature and 1 lagging behind!! IUI is set for tomorrow & unfortunately we wont be doing b2b since it falls on a weekend. What do you girls think? I pray this works!
That was the protocol I got pregnant with last year. I used 5mg of femara for 5 nights and gonal-f every other night. I got 3 follicles that cycle and got pregnant with a singleton. MANY people have success with that protocol
Oh.. and because people sometimes wonder.. that protocol has nothing to do with our loss last year.
I hope this is the last boost you need to finally be on your way!!

You are an inspirational to all of us here- You are such a strong woman and with everything you have gone through, you are still there to answer our questions/concerns with our own cycles. Thank you! and I KNOW you have good things coming your way
this is a very typical dr. B protocol. i got pregnant twice with this protocol (varying doses) although both were chemical (due to other reasons). injectables are completely different than femara alone. you cant even compare the two. very few people do not respond to injectables and thats usually people with FSH issues. theres no reason you shouldn't produce some good eggs in not too much time. good luck!

I am just wondering why he would add this considering I already make 2-3 nice size follies with femara alone
