New month with a question
So despite having 5 good sized follicles and DH's "perfect" sperm, our 1st injectable IUI failed. Tomorrow is my cd3 and I want to change it up this month as far as relaxing. I do acupuncture but recently find myself laying there with the needles feeling stressed out. I was thinking of trying therapeutic massages for at least the first 2 weeks prior to the IUI's but I am afraid to give up on the acupuncture. I can't do it all, I pay out of pocket for almost everything. Can anyone give me any advice?

Re: New month with a question
How about some meditation cds to bring to acupuncture? Maybe that would help you to zone out.
I have found have an easier time getting into a zone if I'm really tired, like when I go after work. Lately I've been going on Sunday mornings when I'm basically ready to star the day.. and I lay there anticipating getting up and doing some shopping!

hahah Pennycat last week at acupuncture I made my supermarket list in my head
I just hate that I feel like my time could be better spent somewhere else. I want to really relax, and it hasn't been happening. Maybe I need to switch places

That's a possibility.. I went to one place and hated it and currently LOVING where I currently go. I use Andrew Kaplan in RVC.
Honestly what sometimes helps me is I visualize getting a bfp.. seeing a heartbeat.. a successful 16wk sono .. It puts me in a good, hopeful mood!

Re: New month with a question
I am one who HATE accupunture. i was so looking forward but after three sessions I realized I was more stressed out wondering when the heck time was going to be up. I didnt find it relaxing at all. I cant blame the facility because the atmosphere was peaceful but laying on my back with needles in my body wasnt. I am also not a "lay on my back" kinda person; I prefer my stomach so that might have had something to do with it.
